First, we come to Angkor Thom, the last capital of Angkor Empire. Here, we explore Bayon temple which as 54 towers of the wise smiling faces. Then, we come to the Terrace of the Elephant and the Leper King where walls are deeply carved with seated deities. Next, we continue to Ta Prohm or Tomb Raider temple with a strange beauty of intertwining trees on the stones. After 1 hour lunch break, we come to the heart of Cambodia and the world largest religious monument, Angkor Wat temple. The last temple is Pre Rup, we will spend our time watching a beautiful sunset on the pyramid-shaped temple.

What can I say… just breathtaking. Maybe the most impressive historia site I have seen. Especially when coming there early morning, we were there for sunrise. A lot of people of course but no wonder since it is a world wonder! The place is massive so even if there are a lot of people you don’t feel cramped.
