Summary: Extraordinary experience. Beautiful day and an amazing guide. My grown son and I went together and it was our favorite day in Greece. Our guide was hugely knowledgeable, paced in the day with us. We loved it.

Summary: Our tour to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon was amazing! Our driver, Aris, picked us up right at our hotel in downtown Athens. He was so personable and knowledgeable about the area! Our ride was comfortable, and Aris told us about many different places along our route...not the typical "history" tour, but more about what life was/is like at various points, such as beaches, hotels/resorts, clubs, etc. He even made a short pit stop on our way there to show us a beautiful little lake area where people go to swim and hold events like weddings, and we got some lovely pictures! The drive along the coast was gorgeous, and when we arrived at the Temple grounds, Aris showed us a great spot on the hill to take some pictures before going inside! We went for the sunset, so Aris waited for us outside the grounds while we toured the site and watched the sun set behind the mountains in the distance. It was a stunning sight! It is definitely worth booking a time in the evening in order to experience the amazing view of the ruins at sunset!
