Meeting Point
Departure point: Casa Bellavista. Casa Bellavista is easily accessible by car from the north or south via the A1 motorway-exit at Val di Chiana, follow the highway toward Perugia and take the next exit (Foiano della Chiana - Cortona). After the exit follow signs to Foiano; after about 400 m turn right toward S. Catherine - Fratta. Continue ~2.8 km, then turn right near a ruined house and follow the road uphill ~1 km. At the fork turn right (stay left at the next fork), continue 600 m and then turn right onto a dirt road; you’ll see Casa Bellavista at the end. GPS coordinates: 43.2444686 N, 11.8706998 E.

This was a fun experience where my friends and i learned how to make pici pasta, dried olive crusted filet and a delicious Parmesan flan. Sylvia was such a vivacious chef/teacher. It was very interactive and our lunch was delicious and accompanied by tasty wince selections. The view is stunning (like so many in Tuscany). Highly recommend!
