Explore Bangkok Nightlife from Wat Tha Phra: Tuk‑Tuk Tour to Temples, Markets and Street Food

You’ll discover why this night tour was awarded TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice “No. 1 Experience in Thailand” in 2018, 2020, 2023 and 2024 as you explore Bangkok by iconic tuk tuk, combining cultural insight, illuminated sights and local eats on a compact 4-hour itinerary; you’ll whizz through the city to visit the vibrant The Flower Market, wander the grounds of Wat Prayoon, and soak up the atmosphere of Chinatown and the historic part of Bangkok while enjoying snacks, a full dinner and dessert-this is a cultural sightseeing experience with food at a local restaurant (not to be confused with the fully food-focused “Bangkok Evening Street Food Tuk Tuk Adventure,” which is better if you only want street food); the tour runs daily as a small-group option with up to 12 guests or as a private tour ideal for families, and is easy to pair with accommodations and activities around Wat Tha Phra in Bangkok.

  • The tour runs year-round - rainy evenings are still fun (ponchos and rain covers are provided) - and some temples’ interiors are closed at night, though their grounds are especially atmospheric after dark.
  • Suitable for most fitness levels; note minimum age rules apply for the shared option and children on private tours must have tickets if older than 5. Advise any dietary requirements when booking; the tour is alcohol-free.

  • Itinerary changes may occur: restaurants and food stores visited can vary day to day depending on what’s open.

Summary: This night tour was worth every penny. Our tour guide Yas was extremely friendly and engaging. As a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) we travelled together in two Tuk Tuks for the evening adventures. Our drivers were great too. Yas was great at keeping the info light but interesting which our teens appreciated. We were late to our pick up and Yas and the team were great at condensing our tour to accommodate our lateness. As suggested in the advert, avoid taxis to the pick up if at all possible! As previously stated, there is plenty of food to try so come with an appetite. Most importantly for our family, Yas was able to confidently ensure that our celiac (gluten free) daughter was able to enjoy almost all of the food on the tour which was a huge bonus for us! Thank you again for a memorable night tour Yas and crew.
