Summary: My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our day. It was well organised, included reliable transport , a wonderful buffet lunch and special lounge area to relax in. But most importantly we were allowed maximum freedom to do our own thing for the day. This allowed us to do exactly what we wanted to do in our experience of the magnificent Great Walk of China. Our host Jessica was amazing. Not only was she exceptional on the day, but she also helped us out the next day when we needed to try to access a reservation for Tiananmen Square which we did not realise we needed. She helped us with no compensation coming her way, and this truly showed how much she cared about our overall experience in China, even outside of our booked tour. Thank you Jessica! I thoroughly recommend this tour using TripAdvisor and this high quality tour company.

Summary: The bus ride was fine, received some information about both Mutianyu options - East or West. After information is shared you can purchase tickets for the wall itself and it’s the same price as it would be if needed to wait in line. After getting off the bus we went to the tour space and received tickets. We were free to explore the chosen section on our own and had to be back by the time the bus was ready to leave depending on the start time. The wall was amazing and beautiful.
