Summary: During our two week adventure in Northern Thailand, we had many wonderful experiences. We visited an elephant sanctuary, ate all types of amazing Northern Thai cuisine, visited markets in multiple cities, and visited as many temples as we could. This temple tour was the highlight of our entire trip. All thanks to Tong and our driver Ed. Tong made the entire experience a true joy. He made sure we were taken care of the whole day. Making sure we were comfortable, had cold water, plenty of bathroom breaks, and a delicious lunch. Tong was extremely knowledgeable about not only the temples, but also Buddhist culture and Thai history. We can't thank Tong and Ed enough for this beautiful experience.

But for us, the highlight of the trip was our amazing guide, Tong. He was everything you could possibly ask for in a guide - very knowledgeable, accommodating, kind, thoughtful and incredibly friendly. At no point did we feel rushed and he took such amazing photos, was with us through our whims and fancies, throughout - the heat, the scorching sun, the exhaustion of having woken up early in the morning - everything faded in front of his enthusiasm and kindness. Tong struck the perfect balance between giving us fascinating insights into the history and culture of these sacred places and making sure we got the absolute most out of our time and money. His warmth and professionalism made the entire experience even more special, and I truly appreciated the care he took to ensure that we had an unforgettable time. Summary: My driver Mr. Poon was an amazing tour guide during this all day adventure! We visited 4 temples: rainbow, white, blue and red. Each one incredibly unique and memorable. The guides driving was excellent and safe throughout the entire day. We had a delicious lunch at the white temple and it was fun learning about each of the unique aspects as well as having all my questions answered. I walked away learning a ton and had some of the best pictures from the trip taken by my guide. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great day trip from Chiang Mai!

Summary: Saw 4 temples in one day from Chiang Mai on a private tour with M. Loved learning all about Buddhism and the different influences seen in the temple architecture and design. Had a delicious lunch at a tiny restaurant of M’s friend’s relative. Amazing authentic nam ngiao. No tourists. M was very efficient at the temples, so we saw everything without spending too much time. And he is an excellent photographer - got lots of great shots of me, which was fun b/c I am traveling solo.
