Important Information
- Your transfer is provided by an English-speaking licensed driver in an air-conditioned 4WD with hotel pick-up and drop-off from Al Rigga and surrounding Dubai locations.
- Stargazing, sunset photo stops and the mega fire show are available only for evening time slots; daytime (11:30) departures include lunch but not the night-only features.
- You should have moderate fitness, avoid dune bashing if pregnant or with serious medical conditions, and eat 2–3 hours before the safari to reduce the risk of motion sickness.
- Quad biking is an optional paid add-on and not covered by the tour insurance; wear Sports shoes for sandboarding and bring a jacket for cooler nights.
Meeting Point
Pick-up and drop-off are provided from your selected hotel or location in Al Rigga, Dubai - be ready in the lobby up to 45 minutes before your scheduled departure. The driver will be English-speaking and will confirm the exact pick-up time in advance; if you’re meeting at a public point instead, the booking will specify the designated meeting spot and time. Note that pick-up times may be adjusted seasonally for heat management, and you’ll receive notification if the timing changes.

- You should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness to take part in the activities offered in the desert.
- To reduce the risk of motion sickness during dune bashing, it is recommended that you eat 2–3 hours before the safari.
- We strongly recommend carrying international travel insurance, as adventure activities carry inherent risks not covered by the operator.
- If you select quad biking, you are solely responsible for any damage, injuries or lost items incurred during that segment.
- All desert safari drivers are trained and licensed; the 4WD vehicles are fully insured and equipped with safety features including roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS/GMS and a first aid kit.
- Oceanair Travels will not be responsible for any loss, accident, sickness or injury during the experience.
- Wear Sports shoes for safe sandboarding and choose casual, loose-fitting clothing in summer or bring a jacket in winter.
- If you have sensitive skin, avoid henna painting - the operator advises against it for those prone to reactions.
- The 11:30 AM time slot includes a lunch buffet but does not include the fire show or stargazing since it is a daytime session.
- Pickup occurs within 45 minutes before your selected departure time - please be ready in your hotel lobby on time.
- Pickup times may shift due to summer heat (up to 1 hour earlier in the morning or 1 hour later in the afternoon); you will receive advance notification if timings change.
- During the holy month of Ramadan, only fire shows are permitted at our desert camps.
- Everything listed in the inclusions is covered in your booking price; quad biking is available only if you select that option.
- By UAE law, pregnant guests, those with back/neck pain, serious heart problems or other major medical conditions, and infants under 3 are not allowed to participate in dune bashing - you may wait at the meeting point while others take part.

We had an amazing day in the desert with quad biking, a desert safari, sandboarding, and a fantastic evening program. A special thanks to our guide Naveed, who was extremely friendly and told us so many interesting things about Dubai.
The dinner was of very good quality, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Our two children also had a lot of fun, making this trip a true highlight for the whole family.
