Our Eiffel Tower tour was excellent! Our guide (I forgot her name) was excellent in providing information regarding the history of the tower and all the pertinent information about it.
We went mid-October which is shoulder season and despite of less tourists (as opposed to the summer season), do expect a moderate wait time of roughly 30 minutes EACH to get through the security lines and the line to the elevators. The views from the second floor were excellent. I highly recommend it!
