Florence to Cinque Terre Day Trip with Optional Hike or Pisa
Your journey from Florence to the Cinque Terre starts by coach, where you can relax as your guide shares stories about the area. Learn about the Cinque Terre and its five fishing villages—Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Monterosso, and Riomaggiore—that form the national park. You can choose between four different tour options depending on how you would like to experience the Cinque Terre: CINQUE TERRE – TRANSPORT ONLY Perfect for independent travelers who want convenient round-trip transportation from Florence to the Cinque Terre. This option includes only the coach transfer to and from the Cinque Terre on the same day, leaving you free to explore the villages at your own pace. CINQUE TERRE TOUR WITH HIKING After arriving in Manarola, follow panoramic paths overlooking the sea, and then hike from Corniglia to Vernazza, passing vineyards, olive groves, and dramatic coastal scenery. Please note that the trails are natural and uneven, with no handrails in some sections, and paths occasionally close to cliff edges. Continue to Monterosso by train, where you have free time to relax, swim, explore the beaches, or enjoy local food and wine. CINQUE TERRE TOUR – NO HIKING Discover the beauty of the Cinque Terre without the physical effort of hiking. Instead of walking the trails, travel comfortably between the villages by train while still enjoying the same colorful seaside towns, spectacular coastal views, and free time to explore. Visit charming villages with opportunities to swim, shop, taste local specialties, or simply soak in the atmosphere. CINQUE TERRE TOUR WITH PISA This option combines the highlights of the Cinque Terre with a visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Visit three of the Cinque Terre villages — Vernazza, Monterosso, and Riomaggiore — traveling between them by boat and train, before continuing to Pisa for free time to admire the famous square and iconic tower. This option does not include hiking.
