He seems to know everyone and greets them with a smile as he leads you through the streets and alleyways of the Medina. He has many stories to tell and good tips if you want to buy something special. I recommend you hire him. It you do, ask him to make a Moroccan hamburger for you.

Summary: My mom and I had an incredible visit to the Medina with Mohammed yesterday. We were able to see so many places that we would not have been able to navigate on our own! Our new friend seemed to know the entire city which made us feel like we were in great hands with our limited amount of time to spend in Fes. Mohammed also was very gracious in helping my mom feel safer on steep or slick areas in the Medina which was above and beyond for us and made the experience that much better. 100% recommending for the information provided and amazing, generous hospitality. Summary: Of all the places we visited on our recent vacation in Morocco, Fes was my favorite! I think it was largely because we started our stay in Fes with an all day private tour of Fes with Mohamed! He was so knowledgeable, funny and streamlined the tour to our preferences. He gave us so much information, and balanced it out with giving us time to self-explore the various sights. He helped us shop, bargaining for us, and before we knew it our 5 hour session became 8 hours, and it was like hanging out with your favorite uncle! Thank you Mohamed for a memorable day!

What impressed us most was his genuine care. We were not able to finish everything in one day, so he graciously offered to meet us the next morning so we would not miss anything. Summary: A great tour with Mohammed. I got sick and had to move the tour a couple days later and he was totally flexible. We drove by the big castle walls of the Kings Palace and heard about the history of Fes. Then we went to the old Medina and walked around for 2+ hours to see all the textiles and shops. It was a great 3 hour experience with a knowledge, kind and patient guide.

Summary: Mohammed is an amazing guide. He gave a detailed explanation of the city history and everyone knows him. Please consider having a guide when you are in Fez, especially if you're a solo woman traveler like me. The medina is a jungle of maze and you'll save so much time exploring if you have a local with you. Mohammed is a respected guy in the city, I can tell. No one will harass you or approach you in the inappropriate way. I spent the whole day with him and it was very insightful. I learnt a lot about Fez. On the way, he will take you to visit many different shops. Remember to haggle and never accept the first price they told you.

Summary: I had a wonderful time with Mohammed on his walking tour. Mohammed is very hospitable and gracious. He arrived promptly at my riad to collect me. He expertly navigated through the maze of streets in the Medina, going to the various historic sites. We went to various artistic shops to see the local craftsmen work’s, as we tasted the local sweets en route.
