Hut to Hut Hiking Tour of Iceland Ancient Trails

Summary: This multi day hut to hut hike was the best experience that I had in Iceland. The scenery was breathtaking, for 3 days we didn’t see anyone else besides those in our group - definitely away from lots of tourists. Our guides prepared wonderful meals and with a small group of like minded people it made for a wonderful experience.

Summary: The most amazing adventure. Norse adventures thought of everything detail to make this trip special and fabulous. From start to finish it was a true Icelandic experience. We were so cared for and the guides were amazing: from coffee to games, storytime and help when we needed it. They even brought Fenris the white wolf to help us along. If you are thinking of making a trip to Iceland this is what you should do.

Summary: Perfect adventure for us. We are moderately fit hikers in our 60s who wanted an active vacation away from the crowds. Magnus and Arnar led us safely even down the muddy hill and showed us many amazing sights: geysers, cliffs, glaciers, mountains, and loads of lava fields. Each day ended with snacks, stories, and delicious Icelandic dinner. A few dips in natural geothermic pools at the beginning and a waterfall visit at the end. We enjoyed every day and we learned so much thanks to our guides.

Summary: Excellent trip, away from the crowds of the Langufur (sp) trail. We barely saw a soul all trip & had the huts to ourselves. Brilliant guides in Magnus & Arnar and of course the white Siberian husky Fenris!!! You should book this trip!! Thank you Norse Adventures!!

Summary: If you are looking for a genuine and fulfilling Iceland visit, NORSE offers is the best way to do so, hiking the ancient trails. Iceland is beautiful, the photos do not make any justice to the magnificent landscapes. Yet, Iceland weather can be unpredictable, therefore having a truly experienced guidance while hiking is essential, even better when is far from the crowds and filled with Iceland history and traditions. Our guides Magnus, Arnar and Fenris provided our group with the most wonderful experiences, while providing safety, great hospitality and kindness. We were a group of eight, all different ages and fitness levels. The hikes were great, well balanced challenge and rest. Always with the price of a wonderful view at the end, delicious meals prepared with care. Seamlessly a group of eleven strangers became close friends, sharing experiences that will be in our hearts forever.

Summary: An amazing 6-day hike from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking, the huts were great but most of all the guides were friendly, knowledgeable,very accommodating during scary/difficult sections ,made the whole experience enjoyable and didn't rush throughout the distance each day giving time for photos rest breaks and let's everyone walk at their own speed filling time with conversation and helping people understand Norse mythology and Icelandic history better than the museums in Reykjavik. I’d definitely recommend Norse Adventures to anyone wanting to explore Iceland on foot.
