Summary:
My fiance and I were the first to arrive in the parking lot and Mama Char met us to show us where to check in. There are only two small lockers to share with the group so pack small and bring a secure crossbody for your phone so you can take pictures.
They provide a granola bar and a cooler of tiny water bottles- I’m glad they were tiny so I wouldn’t have to use the restroom. Tay and James were attentive and hosted a great tour! They gave some local background info on the old sugar mill and reservoir as well as offered to take some photos for us.
Wear good sneakers and not Converse so you don’t slip on the inclines- it did sprinkle and rain a couple times during the trip, but it was still warm so you dried off quickly. Overall, it was an amazing experience with breath taking views and I would definitely go again next time we visit.
