Enjoy a Swakopmund Catamaran Cruise and Sandwich Harbour Dune Drive in Erongo

Summary: Morning catamaran cruise was a fantastic start to the day with sightings of dolphin, humpback whales and lots of seals! Not to forget the on board seal and pelican visitors. The afternoon Sandwich Harbour Dune Drive with Leclue as our driver and guide was the highlight of our day. In summary: we were well looked after by Leclue and it was an excellent, informative and fun experience! Highly recommended!

Summary: We did the The Marine Dune day and I must say, I would highly recommend. Our skipper, Christel started the day off with an excellent boat ride. The fact that we saw a lot of sealife was a big plus! But most of all, it was the knowledge she had about everything that made it even better. We continued our day with our driver LeClue. He gave us a magnifent drive throught the Sandwich Dunes. And it is like you see on the pictures, vast dunes and panoramic views that are just from another world. On top of that, tou get to see some driving skills that are based on years of experience. Max Verstappen would take his hat off! Thank you for this great day, it truely took our Namibia experience to a higher level!

Summary: We had a great day. During the cruise we saw seals and whales and many seabirds including a pelican that landed on our boat. We were served a nice lunch including oysters and sparkling wine. After a brief coffee break we ventured out to the sand dunes with our very knowlegeable and attentive guide LeClue. On the way we saw a pink salt lake. The scenery on/off the dunes was spectacular. There were several stops all with different views. At the end of the tour a meal was served with different spread and drinks. A great day overall and although not cheap definitely worth the money. The only negative is that we were advised an incorrect pick up time and had to wait 40 minutes for a pick up. Also, our mobiles run out of batteries because there was so much to take photos off, we should have brought a power bank.

Summary: We had the most incredible day with Desert, Dunes & Dust Tours! The morning started with spotting pelicans, seals, dolphins, and even whales — truly magical! The morning ended perfectly with a glass of sparkling wine and fresh oysters — absolute perfection. In the afternoon, we joined the Sandwich Harbour Dune Drive with our fantastic driver Leclue. What an adventure! Racing through the dunes, breathtaking views everywhere you looked — it was pure magic from start to finish. Christel and Leclue made the whole experience unforgettable with their enthusiasm, knowledge, and great sense of fun. We recommend this tour highly — a must-do experience for anyone visiting Namibia!

Summary: There is a high likelihood of getting up close and personal with wildlife. Absolutely brilliant!!! We saw flamingos, seals, pelicans, whales, jackals, springboks, oryxes, ostriches…but best of all we experienced the Namibian Atlantic ocean and the sand dunes in one perfect day…wouldn’t change a thing!

Summary: Fabulous trip! Our catamaran was wonderful and saw humpback whales, seals, dolphins. Delicious oysters, champagne, and food! The funeral drive was so fun! We had amazing views, fun driving, yummy food and drinks. Amazing day! Don't miss out on this trip! Very well organized from pickups and various activities.

Summary: We saw humpback whales, the boat was big and comfortable (able to also sit inside which I was afraid of in the cold) and we had an amazing spotter, happiness. The dune tour we had with Uwe who was great at telling us loads about the area in terms of plant, animal and human life. Also he’s a great driver and we got to drive alongside the ocean and dunes :)

Summary: We did a combi tour with Desert and Dunes Tours everything was arranged perfectly, with a lot of a smiles and enthusiasm. In the morning, we had a very nice dolphin cruise with Cristel, who was very kind and funny and had very much knowledge and passion for the sea creatures. In the afternoon, we went to Sandwich Harbour with Delano (and his son who joined to see his father at work now he had the chance). Delano is very friendly and kind and makes you feel very safe! He tries everything he can to make sure you have the best experience and likes to chat while crossing in the dunes. He is very experienced and makes you feel safe and comfortable so you can sit back and enjoy the (wild) ride! On both activities, we had very tasty and plenty of snacks, and this was also prepared very well and presented with love. We would definitely recommend it!

Summary: My husband and I did the dolphin cruise and sandwich harbour combo last weekend and it was fabulous! We were collected from Swakopmund and taken directly to the boat where we were introduced to our guide, Christel. We saw pelicans, seals, so many beautiful dolphins and a whale! It's beautiful out on the ocean and we learnt about the different boats and how the harbour works. We watched the kayaking near Pelican Point while we ate delicious snacks, oysters and drank champagne! From the boat we were taken directly out to Sandwich Harbour by our guide Delano. The tide meant we couldn't get all the way to Sandwich along the sea line but we drove up and down the amazing sea of dunes instead until we reached a spot nicknamed Kodak (haha) to take photos and experience the thrill of the dunes meeting the sea. On our way back we learnt about the Nara plant, the minerals in the sand causing it to be different colours, experienced water from the aquifer under the dunes, saw oryx and even a jackal! It was an amazing day out from start to finish, and I can only highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the coast!
