Summary: The trip to Mekong River was one of its kind. It was an unforgettable experience, visiting peaceful village, meeting the villagers who prepared fresh fruit and tea while playing traditional instruments and singing for us. We saw how the local people live and earned their living by making products made of honey and bee pollens, cocoa, coconut milk etc. Kate was very knowledgeable and very attentive. On the day we had to fly back to Sydney, the driver dropped us off at the airport. After checking in, I realised I left an art piece that I bought from one of the workshop, I contacted Kate and she told the driver to go back to the airport. We got our belonging, and flew back to Sydney happily. Thank you Kate.

Summary: We had a wonderful experience with Nia as our tour guide. He was very informative, helpful, and always responded to our questions promptly. Nia was courteous and professional throughout the tour. Crossing the Cambodia border was handled very efficiently and smoothly, without any hassles. I also really enjoyed hearing about his funny experiences and encounters with Australian wildlife. I highly recommend Nia as a tour guide!

Summary: Heng our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the local attractions and gave us a wonderful experience of life along the Mekong Delta. Always narrating some interesting stories of local life with a big smile. She accompanied us to Phnom Penh on the bus which made our 7 hour journey pleasant. Even navigating the border entry with ease.

Summary: It was a brilliant trip. Stunning lunch and visiting coconut and unicorn islands. Our tour leader Nea took us to see how coconut sweets were made from beginning to end and explained the process of snake wine complete with snake skins fermentation . our tour leader Nea was 11 out of 10. Summary: My wife and I had been to Vietnam 3 times before and twice gone on the Mekong Delta day tour, but in July 2025, together with a group of another 15 from Australia, we went again. So glad we did!👍 This time, we had a local guide, Loi Nguyen from Indochina Tour. We were so glad we did as we all had a fantastic “adventure” of a kind as we cruised along the famous river, stopping over to see how coconut candies were made by the locals, see and even play with a high white python wrapping around your neck(😳) …see the huge cat fishes by the thousands, crocodiles, frogs and more. We also had our lunch provided! Has anyone tried the “Elephant Ear fish”? Fried and crispy! And we also had coconuts galore to quench our thirst during the boat ride back! All in all, our guide “Loi” was talking and telling us about the local Vietnamese culture including what they did or experienced during the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic: how they overcame the tough times! Compare that to the Western world where people preferred to grumble and ask for more handouts and help from their governments! That these local Vietnamese people with so little resources, are smart, inventive and tough is an understatement: their Chu Chi tunnel’s ingenuity to outsmart their enemies in the Vietnam War was just one example!) It was truly a well worth tour! What made it even better was our local guide, Loi!👍 He was an example of what a local guide should be when having a group of foreign tourists: friendly, helpful, informative, caring for each and every member in the group…young and old! I can’t fault Loi. So, to all those wanting to holiday in Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh City), I would strongly recommend that they contact Indochina Tour, based in Hanoi! I must add too that the company provided us with 3 excellent local guides to take care of our needs during the long 19 days Vietnam tour ( Hanoi, Danang, Hoi Ann, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City …to name a few). The 3 great guides were: “Mack ( Hanoi), “Tom ( Danang, Hoi Ann & Hue) and Loi ( Ho Chi Minh City): together they took care of the entire group of 17 of us like true friends. Can’t ask for more!
