Make your own way to the meeting point in the center of Paris. Settle into the minibus for the drive north to Normandy. First stop is Omaha Beach. Walk on the same sands that the Allied forces landed on and learn about their acts of heroism. Your next stop is the Overlord Museum, home to an unrivaled collection of military equipment. Batterie Allemande de Longues-Sure-Mer is your next stop. Climb inside a bunker and experience D-Day from the Axis perspective. Have lunch at a local restaurant (own expense) before continuing to the Pointe-du-Hoc where you can walk around huge bomb craters to the edge of a 1 tall cliff. Next pay your respects to fallen servicemen at the Cimetiere Americain de Colleville-sur-Mer. Your final stop is Ferme de la Sapiniere to taste some of Normandy’s famous cider. Your tour ends back in Paris where you began.
