Summary: I was skeptical about taking a group trip via the internet. However, I was very impressed with the quality of the excursion. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept us on-schedule so we could make the most of our trip. Her knowledge and ability to educate, entertain, and hold our interest was wonderful. I also enjoyed our stop afterward for lunch in the village. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed the family-style sitting arrangements and meeting great people. Once the bus left the city, the countryside and mountains are beautiful to enjoy on the ride.

Summary: We had a great time with tour guide Dorina and our extremely competent coach driver Yannis. Dorina had a wealth of knowledge about Delphi and its factual history and filled in the gaps on the mythology of the site as well. During our travel from Athens to Delphi and return, Dorina gave expert commentary on historical events and facts about the land and its use in the present day. We covered the archaeological museum and Dorina did a wonderful job herding our group through the busy crowds both there and within the archaeological site. If undertaking a weekend tour we recommend booking in lunch in advance as this saved a lot of time. Lunch offered plenty of choice and was very nice. It was a very balanced and informative tour.
