Summary: Our guide was Aurelia and she is lovely. Patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. I didn’t hear one question asked that she was unable to answer and she was engaged by several members of the group in discussions. She knows her Renaissance and Medieval history! She added to our understanding of Florence. Aurelia also gave us information on places to go and see beyond the walking tour; these were accompanied by directions and recommendations for various venues for food and drink. This was our second visit to Florence, and we are very pleased to have had the opportunity to take this walking tour.

Summary: Manuel was an excellent guide, he told the story of Florence making connections across the centuries and how the city was shaped by its residents and vice versa. I felt like we saw hidden gems and learned how to “read” some of the city’s architecture. An excellent way to spend 2 hours.

Summary: Our tour guide, Camilla was excellent. The price you pay on here goes to the company, not the guide, and the guide has to pay €5 for each person on the tour so it’s one of those where you pay what you choose. Camilla was superb and made the tour enjoyable and informative. Great anecdotes in places to make the history come alive.
