Viking Brewery Tour of Poulsbo

Learn to think (and drink!) like a Viking on this unforgettable 3-hour walking tour through Poulsbo—affectionately known as “Little Norway.” This lively experience blends craft beverages, local history, and a dash of Norse spirit into one adventure. You’ll sample four drinks while visiting three local favorites: The Sip, Western Red Brewing, and Valhöll Brewing. Start at The Sip with their interactive “pour your own sip” experience, then head to Western Red Brewing for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the brewhouse, where you’ll see how their bold beers are crafted. Finally, visit Valhöll Brewing, where you’ll raise your glass for a ceremonial toast from a 4-liter Scandinavian longhorn. Along the way, take in Viking history, Norse mythology and daily life, and tales of Poulsbo’s Nordic roots. It’s a spirited journey through culture, craft drinks, and community, perfect for curious explorers and beer lovers alike. *Non-alcoholic beverages are available at all stops!

Summary: I have now been fortunate to take both Kyle’s Viking tour as well as his Tacoma tour and they were both PHENOMENAL! Kyle is an amazing story teller: think your favorite history teacher meets an episode of drunk history - a perfect combination of entertainment and learning. As a long time Washingtonian, I can attest that both of these tours are good to bring friends from out of town to OR they are great way to learn more about the history that lays in your own neighborhood.
