Stay in a spacious, well-appointed home on the eastern edge of the Historic District Free with free street parking.
Our home works beautifully for family trips, wedding weekends, SCAD visits, couples traveling together, multi-generational stays, and guests who prefer the comfort and value of a full home over several hotel rooms.
An easy walk to Forsyth Park, Kroger, local restaurants, River Street and the Victorian District are nearby.
A park and playground are opposite.
High ceilings, great light, good room sizes, modern bathrooms and well equipped and stocked modern kitchen (granite and stainless) for cooking real meals and eating at home.
LOTS OF FREE PARKING (that is rare and a real saving in Savannah. Most of Savannah is metered and places with valet are $30 per night per car. )
Central heat and cooling and varispeed ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living and dining room. Living spaces and bedrooms have attractive but non-working fireplaces.
Original refinished wood floors in living dining and halls, new wood floors in bedrooms (no carpet anywhere).
Dining room seats 8 comfortably.
Kitchen has a bistro table and 2 chairs for a quick bite and is properly stocked with pans and utensils so 8 people can cook and eat real meals. Plates, glasses etc for 15+. Kitchen has coffee maker, espresso machine, kettle, toaster, blender, microwave and electric range.
Full sized washer and dryer in utility room.
We have our own quiet private backyard (brick paved). Outdoor seating and tables, lots of shade and gas BBQ for some outdoor relaxing. We even have a blender in the kitchen for making sundowners..
We are child friendly and have a kids toilet seat and step available but are not baby proof.
We also have a few steps up to front and back door and shower/ bathrooms upstairs (a half bath downstairs) so if you need wheel-in access we are not the rental for you.
We are not a rental for the party crew. Principal renter needs to be 25+.
Out of consideration for other guests no smoking/vaping and no pets (and no exceptions).
You will find our home clean and great condition and we ask our guests to take out their trash, load the dishwasher and not leave a sink full of pans when they leave. Excessive mess will result in an increased cleaning charge/claim on deposit.

Forsyth Park - 0.4 miles, 10 min walk
River St - 1 mile, 20 minute walk through Historic District ($5 Uber)
Closest supermarkets - Kroger - 0.3 mile, 7 min walk. WholeFoods 2.5 miles
Target - 3 miles away
In terms of getting about, walk, cab/Uber, drive or take the bus as you wish. Bus stop is a few yards across the road. We have lots of free on street parking. An Uber to the heart of River St is a 5 minute ride. Savannah is about walking and sightseeing so bring a good pair of shoes and explore.
