Summary: Maria and Brian Chamberlain were very friendly and welcoming. As it is a working farm, Brian was busy when we first arrived, late in the afternoon. Maria came out to greet us, as their were two houses just off the driveway and my wife and I didn't know which one to enter so to register. She quickly showed us to our room and introduced us to four other guests staying for an artist show. The Chamberlains had horses, donkeys, chickens, cats and a very friendly dog. Unfortunately, we were only booked for one night stay. Maria graciously showed my wife her rhubarb garden and even gave her some cuttings to take with her (fortunately, they survived the plane ride back home to California)! Brian gave me a nice tour of his farm and the personalities of the animals, an indication of his chores and some information about the surrounding neighborhood and area characteristics. I almost forgot to indicate that upon our arrival, Maria gave us a $15.00 gift certificate for what I believe she described as, "some of the best Mexican food in Northern New Hampshire". The very nice guests added to the experience!
