Set between the villages of North Curry and Stoke St Gregory, within walking distance, you have the Willows Wetlands Centre as well as a café and delicatessen; just over a mile in each direction you have local pubs serving food and drinks. Head further afield and you have the county town of Taunton, full of shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues, as well as a Museum and several tourist attractions. Within 30 minutes’ drive you have plenty of National Trust properties to visit, or head to Langport, which has wonderful walks along the River Parrett and some lovely independent stores. You will also find the Jurrasic coast - beautiful beaches within 45 minutes drive.
