Positive: The unit is a few steps away from my office at RCBC Tower 2, so it was really convenient staying here. The air mall and convenience store were within walking distance. Everything in the unit was clean - from the bathroom to the kitchen, living room, and the bedroom. The choice of colors in the living room and bedroom are all so pretty. The unit was spacious for one person. I had to work when I arrived, and I appreciate that there's an extension cord kept in the drawer. The sun hits the bedroom directly. The owner was very polite and stayed in touch with me prior to check in and after I checked out. She also even thanked me for leaving the unit clean. I've never encountered a bnb owner like her. So kind, polite, and courteous.
Negative: There was only one table in the unit, which was fine, except that it had goblets, plates, bowls, and cutlery already set over it when I arrived. I think there's no need to set dining wares on the table since not all guests will be using them, especially those staying only for a night and on a business trip. I needed the table for my laptop and other work devices, so I removed all the plates and tablewares and placed them somewhere else so I could use the table for work. There was an opened box of Eden cheese on the kitchen counter and a quarter of a garlic in the fridge when I arrived. It'd be good for the cleaning staff to clear out all used goods in the unit for the next tenant. There was a used pink Safeguard bar soap in the kitchen sink (along with the dishwashing liquid and the sponge), a sachet of unused green Sunsilk shampoo in the bathroom sink (probably left by the previous tenant), a used blue soap bar in the shower rack, and a huge bottle of Safeguard shower gel (which looks like the only bath amenity provided in the unit). I work in the hotel industry so I learned that all used soap bars and other used bath amenities should be disposed off for the next guests in the unit. In the unit's description in Booking.com, it'll be good to add which bath amenities are provided so that guests will know what to expect and what to bring if they are not provided in the unit. Alao, kindly consider using a double layered curtain (combination of a blackout curtain and a sheer-opaque material). Some guests might need to sleep in til late morning if they work night shifts. The sun hitting the room so early in the morning plus the sound of sirens and traffic reach the 18th floor, and they woke me up too early ✌️ Lastly, please consider providing bottles of water to welcome the guest. Some of us travel far and arrive late and we might not bring enough water for the stay.
