Your home away from home in Maui! Kihei Bay Vista is steps away from white sand beaches while still conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and transportation; 5 mins. in any direction. This 1-bdrm unit is a newly converted rental and shows pride of ownership.
Kihei Bay Vista is known as the choice for many returning Maui vacationers due to its quiet low key ambiance yet resort-like amenities, with pool, jacuzzi, bbq area, and private lanai for hanging out and enjoying the breeze.
Note: For guests booking with us starting Nov 1, 2021, Maui County and Expedia have agreed to collect the GE tax (4.712%), TAT (10.25%) and MC-TAT(3%) for us as a line item when you book a reservation. These taxes will be charged to you at the time of booking. As a result, we were able to reduce the room rates since prior to this date, we had to collect this taxes ourselves by including them in the nightly rate.
Now to the Condo, this is a clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed unit with many outstanding reviews. The unit was a winter home to a Canadian couple so it has the quality and feel of a vacation home. The bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen are all recently upgraded with fresh paint, decor, and appliances.
The location is in the quieter N. Kihei area, and the preferred choice of returning Maui vacationers who don't want the big city and touristy ambiance of S. Kihei. At the same time you are 5 mins away driving in any direction to grocery stores, sundries, and restaurants, and buses that run up and down S. Kihei Rd. Across the street are Sugar Beach and Mai Puno Oehau Beach, as well as the historic fish ponds at Kalepolepo Park.
The unit includes beach chairs, towels, and a couple boogie boards, for those spur of the moment trips to the beach, to get wet or just to watch the sunset. There is also a pool and jacuzzi for guests in case you just want to relax near home.
ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE:
Spaces are not assigned and the unit is close to the parking lot which makes loading and unloading extremely convenient. Parking permit used for parking overnight.
PROPERTY MANAGER:
There is seasoned and professional manager that lives on the property to promptly assist you with your needs.
The AC unit in the living room is new aned reliable tropical breeze flows from the beach through the unit when the windows are open. The patio is the best place to relax and just enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Please be sure to turn the AC off when you are not in the unit.
LAUNDRY:
Full size washer and dryer in the unit. Laundry detergent not included
KITCHEN AND DINING:
New refrigerator, oven and microwave. Also available are dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, pans and pots, dishes, rice cooker, mugs, wine glasses and many more. Bar stools, dinner table for four in the unit and the lanai has a patio table with four chairs.
CABLE TV / INTERNET / PHONE:
At no extra cost, we provide HD cable TV and high speed Wi-Fi. Bluetooth speakers that can connected to your device for your favorite streaming service.
We recently added Chromecast for those of you who have Streaming Apps (Netflix, Hulu, HBONow, etc.) on your smartphone or other devices. You can now watch content on the either TV in the living room or bedrom. Just connect to the Wi-Fi, add (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Home app to your device then follow instructions in the app to connect.
BEACH ACCESSORIES:
Beach umbrella, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, floating noodles and cooler are provided at no cost.
GUEST ACCESSS:
The entire condo unit and all the amenities of Kihei Bay Vista (pool, bbq area, and jacuzzi) are all available to guests.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:
We live in Kihei and I work 5 mins away from the unit ready and willing to help you with anything to make your visit a happy one!

1. There is a video doorbell installed at the front door for guests' safety and security as well as to ensure that all guests are registered in advance.
2. For late checkout requests (if available) there will be a $50 fee.
