In Drôme Provençale, in the heart of the Jabron valley, in the region of Dieulefit-Bourdeaux, not far from Diois and the Drôme valley, you will appreciate the geographical location at the foot of the old village of Poët-Laval (1km) classified as a one of the most beautiful villages in France, just 10 minutes from Dieulefit and 30 minutes from Grignan and Montélimar. Numerous discoveries and tourist attractions: the perched and fortified village of Poët-Laval (imposing keep, castle, remains and ramparts) is accessible on foot from the gîte. In the surrounding area within a 25 km radius: numerous medieval hilltop villages, forests of Marsanne and Saoû, Valdaine golf course, castles of Grignan, Suze-la-Rousse, Adhémar, the Trente Pas parade, Montélimar capital of nougat, Dieulefit, a center of pottery and ceramics, rivers, Provençal markets. Shops and services accessible 6km away (Dieulefit and La Bégude de Mazenc).
Stopover with charm and character in an old hamlet. La Perrière is located, as its name suggests, on an old stone quarry where Pascale and Bruno now welcome you all year round. Located on one level on the ground floor of our house, the La Perrière gîte is arranged as follows: kitchen/living room, bright living room open to nature with its 3 bay windows allowing light into the interior, open fireplace contemporary, television and hi-fi equipment, office area for a cozy work space, 90x190 bed. The bedroom opens through a pocket door (160x200 bed, wall cupboard and bay window), the corridor leads to the bathroom, the separate toilet and the laundry room/pantry. The terrace and the garden are for your exclusive use. For your comfort, the living room and bedroom benefit from underfloor heating. The parking lot is shared with Pascale and Bruno (50m from the gîte). Absolute tranquility and seductive view for this cottage with irresistible charm!
