Positive: The home is undeniably beautiful and well-designed, and the hostess was very responsive.
Negative: 1. The house was not properly cleaned before our arrival. 2. There was a major drainage issue. While using the washer, waste water backed up through the bathtub, shower, and toilets, partially flooding 2 of the rooms. There was no mop bucket, plunger, or cleaning supplies. We had to use the mop (without a bucket) and towels to soak up water. The hostess promised to send a plumber or plunger the next day, but neither arrived. Sewage water continued to come up even without using the washer. The hostess also told us that after relieving ourselves, we should dispose of toilet paper with fecal waste in the trash, which to me is utterly unhygienic. 3. The power outlets in the main bedroom stopped working. We were advised by the hostess to reset the breaker, but that didn’t help. No electrician was sent. 4. WiFi was unstable, making it difficult to stay connected. This home has great potential, but these plumbing and electrical problems need urgent attention. Until then, future guests may face the same unacceptably foul experience.
