Typical for Krautsand are the houses on Wurten, the thatched houses, the fruit farms, the cattle pastures, the small nature reserves, the harbors, the small maritime church for the good shepherd and the beautiful sandy beach, with the adjoining tidal flats. 7 km long. Between dike and beach, trees and meadows provide shelter from the wind, rain and sun. Here you can lie on the beautiful sandy beach, watch the large and small ships in the nearby shipping channel and wander safely at low tide and all without tax. You can explore Krautsand on 20 km of cycling and hiking trails. The Hanseatic city of Stade is only about 22 km away.
