Positive: This apartment is located in a delightful condo with some 10 more apartments and with a very convenient and clean shared pool. Lot of trees, flowers, birds and we even saw some iguanas outside. It is located in the ground level, and we found it extremely silent even with guests in the apartment above us. The design of the apartment is excellent: every room is very spacious, modern, beautifully decorated in the details, and with extremely convenient utensils and equipment, such as ice maker in the fridge, dishwasher machine, laundry washer machine, toaster, coffee machine, excelent A/C in every room. Comfy beds, cozy inside and outside sofas, spacious dinner table. Both bathrooms (suite and common) were large and shower was wonderful. The location is awesome to reach Jan Thiel Beach (<5 min by car), the southern/eastern coast of the island (the best for snorkeling) and 2 minutes away from the dock where the trips to Klein Curaçao starts. We used to go to Jan Thiel almost every evening to see the sunset, and was some 10-15 minutes away from Mambo Beach and Sea Aquarium. It adds considerable time (~25, 30 min with transit) to reach the northern/western beaches when compared to staying downtown, but it is totally worth it. Chrissy is a friendly hostess and provided some very convenient snacks and drinks for a warm welcome. The payment was via international bank account transfer (which was new to me, but no problem in there at all) directly to the owners. A relevant extra tax for cleaning was charged in addition to what was in the Booking.com page, and we were informed about that a couple days after the reservation. We could still cancel, not problem with that, but considering the total price and the quality of the place, I'm glad we decided to keep the reservation. Totally recommended!
