This is an exhilarating example of a mid-century modern condo with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a den by Barry Berkus AIA, built in 1961. The bedrooms both feature queen sized beds and plenty of storage. In the world of modernism, architect Barry A. Berkus was known for his innovative designs on space, light, soaring roof lines and mouth opening entry ways that signified great modern design implemented in Palm Springs' architecture. The details of this condo show a rigid structural element, such as beams and plates, anchored at one end to a vertical support from which it protrudes. This is a piece of quintessential mid-century modern Palm Springs that people have always sought after, located in the south area of town. This condo features a lush garden area, a pool area that is shared by a few other condos, a private walled patio with dining for four, lounging for two and a bar bq grill for entertaining with spectacular mountain views.
