Originally Belgians and adopted Morvandeaux, Peter, a renowned contemporary metal sculptor (workshop and monumental works to admire on site) and his wife Lore welcome you to a 16th century country farm which has been fully restored & loaded with history (former agricultural dependency of the Roussillon castle), in the heart of a small hamlet nestled on the old Roman road, on the edge of meadows and forest, in the hollow of a gentle valley of Haut Morvan. Magnificent country setting of nature and greenery. Beautiful, literally enchanting setting and hilly site. Splendid panorama and landscapes. Vast closed park of 2 ha very neat, strewn with the imposing sculptures of the owner, having a pleasant private garden open on the surrounding countryside (including a terrace area exposed and shaded). Spacious gîte with good comfort. Large rooms. Charming and exotic character "modernist" & "vintage" (spirit "50"). Large veranda with ping-pong table. Composition: Gite adjoining the owners (total independence without vis-à-vis). Wireless. Wood-fired central heating.
