Positive: Before arrival the self-entry code was sent to us. Getting into the property was super easy. We also received a message that we could access the property early. The house was very very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It is exactly as pictured in VACASA. Look at the video posted there, is the best way to see it. The views from the house were amazing. Even though the house is a neighborhood, it feels secluded. The area is very quiet. A few minutes after arriving, Josh the property manager arrived to fix the internet router which was not working. He was not able to fix that day but came back the next day with the technician and got it going. He gave us his cel number in case we needed anything during our stay, which was nice. The firepit outside was fun to use and make smores. The house is specious and clean, if you're in the area for skiing or hiking I highly recommend it.
Negative: Upon arrival the entry is up very steep stairs and into the mudroom which is not very attractive and smelled musty. Once inside the house was freezing and had to figure out the heating system, which is complex and took a while to figure out. But once we got it going, it worked great. Beds where not the most comfortable. The property has a club house, but the pools were closed and we could not enjoy. The bedroom on the top floor is reached by very steep stairs, more like a ladder than stairs. Probably not appropriate for a child under 9 or 10. House has a musty smell, we lighted a few candles and it helped. Also the house has 3 terraces, which were full of leaves and the furniture was dirty. Prob not an issue of your here in the winter, but we were here in the fall and wanted to enjoy the outdoor space. We had to sweep the leaves and clean the furniture to enjoy. There's not much to do around the area other than hiking or skiing if in season. All in all after a few tweaks we enjoyed the space.
