Spend days relaxing on the terrace as the wildlife roams the rolling hills beyond and evenings in your private hot tub under a sky full of stars. Should you wish to explore the area, there is an abundance of walking and cycling routes on the doorstep or you can venture to the historic city of York.
The space
The cottage is set out over one floor and features rustic timber walls, exposed wooden beams and underfloor heating throughout.
As you step inside you will be greeted by two leather armchairs, perfectly positioned around the log-effect fireplace so you can relax in sumptuous comfort. Feel free to make use of the books and board games throughout your stay too.
The housekeeping cupboard provides a selection of essentials including a mini fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine.
Homemade bread, cooked English breakfast and artisan pizzas can also be made to order with plenty of notice and at an additional fee if you don't feel like cooking.
Just a few steps away is the super-king-size bed with quality bed linen and a perfect view of the Smart TV on the wall. Meanwhile, the bathroom features a luxurious walk-in shower and a huge stone resin bath.
Outside, you will have access to the terrace and a luxurious hot tub which overlooks the Yorkshire Wolds. Should you wish to dine alfresco, there is a gas BBQ and garden furniture.
