This room opens to a striking fully equipped kitchen and open plan dining-living room with bi-fold doors to a sunlit terrace and garden. A retractable awning over the terrace makes it ideal for outdoor meals. The garden adjoins the owners’ at the rear but is cleverly closed off for privacy with wrought iron and mirrored gates. It is an ideal house/garden to relax in after a day visiting the Arts precinct; the tennis; the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre; the Botanic Gardens; or the popular beaches of St Kilda, Elwood and Port Melbourne. Public transport is excellent and there is easy tram/bus/train access to central Melbourne for shopping and other tourist attractions; or to Melbourne University in Carlton or as far as Latrobe and Monash Universities. Sorry, party-lovers, it is not at all suited to having parties because of the close proximity of neighbours and has a strict no-party policy to prevent disturbance to them.
