Summary: The owners add an up charge after the room has already been reserved online. This was the seventh hotel in a row I made reservations through an app while on the road but the first to add an extra charge after the fact. I had even called earlier as a courtesy to say I’d be later checking in and there was no mention of the charge then either. Very shady business practice.
