Summary: We got settled into the house the first night and went to hang up clothes only to realize that there is nowhere to hang clothes. Many of the rooms simply did not have closets, the ones that did, those closets were locked and inaccessible...so we lived out of suitcases, no big deal. I like to cook. Appliances, knives, etc are about as cheap as money can buy and while this is somehwhat expected with VRBO, I was hoping that if I spent the extra money on a high end place that there would at least be decent appliances and pots and pans. Unfortunately, this was not the case. There was also no trash cans in the kitchen. There were two holes for trash cans to be built in, but there were no cans and no place to put trash. We had to go out and buy a trash can for the kitchen. The house has a nice big movie theater but again it falls way short on the details. The Roku was out of range and the projector sits at shoulder height so most of the couch is useless as you block the projector...but it didn't work regardless so we never used it. The real issue is that most nights half way though a shower the hot water would shut off. It pops a 100A breaker downstairs which is a huge problem. I took cold showers most nights. If you are in the shower and your wife turns on a sink the breaker pops. Overall the house photographs well but feels very cheap, and lacks simple things like closets and basic items. If you like hot water this is probably not for you. Luckily I do take ice baths at home.
