Positive: Amazing pool and BBQ facilities. Apartment was nice but some fixtures and fittings were in need of repair, namely the sliding wardrobe door in the twin room and broken tap in the toilet We needed to wash up some of the frypans (one was not usable even after a good clean). Good supply of basic pantry items such as tea, coffee, spreads, milk, salt and pepper etc as well as washing-up detergent, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper and washing machine detergent which is always very much appreciated when on a short holiday. Very close to Pacific Fair and a short walk to the beach and a two minute drive to Kurrawa Surf Club.
Negative: After texting me the access details, the host did not respond when I text back. From the photos, the apartments looked like they were all ground floor. When we arrive to stay with 2 elderly relatives in their 90's (on walkers and walking sticks) we found we were on level 3 and had to walk up and down 45 steps each day to access the apartment. Not getting a reply from the host about this situation was very poor, I even went to the onsite office to see if we could move apartments but staff told me I had booked through Bookings.com so they could not help me. Photos should show that some apartments are located on upper levels and state that there is no lift to these apartments. The hosts should not engage on a communications platform that they are not willing to accept return communications on.
