This 1940s cottage sits on Pleasant Pond, which is a 749-acre body of water. You are seven and a half miles from Gardner, almost nine miles from Richmond, 12 miles from beautiful historic downtown Hallowell, and 15.6 miles from the state capital Augusta. Access to the house is through the active dairy farm, which also is home to two beautiful white horses! There is a boat launch just a few miles down the street and a dock to attach the boat to.
Outdoor living is a big deal here. Spend lazy evenings sitting around the firepit by the water, dining alfresco at the picnic table, or treating your friends to delicious grilled patties and veggies thanks to the propane grill available on the deck. From the sunroom, you can watch the seaplanes take off and land several times a day. The well-equipped kitchen is complete with all major appliances and everything you could need to prepare tasty homemade meals and treats for your guests, however, there is no dishwasher.
