Positive: The inside of the home was really cute. The interior decor is modern and tasteful. While the size of some of the bedrooms are small, that worked well with us, because everyone had their own space. The galley kitchen has lots of thoughtful touches, including a keurig with lots of K-Cups. The bathrooms are also very clean and nicely redone.
Negative: Unfortunately, the house is in an awful neighborhood. Like BAD. Unsafe. There is a beautiful outdoor area in the back, but we did not feel safe using it after dark. If I had checked out the neighborhood previously, I would have cancelled. Outdoor of house does not look as cute as pic, either. The virtual concierge did not work, and several of the fan remotes were without batteries or otherwise didn't work. This was for family to stay for my son's graduation. Grateful for a cute and serviceable interior, but very disappointed I brought my parents and children to stay overnight in the ghetto. The street really is THAT bad. I cannot believe the reviews saying everything was perfect. It is a SKETCHY neighborhood-literally a slum. I can't imagine staying here and not mentioning that. I understand everyone's standards differ, but I would think anyone spending money on a vacation rental would be horrified by the surroundings.
