The Space:
El Yunque Paradise offers a one-of-a-kind experience of comfort, fun, and peace in your own private villa within El Yunque National Forest. This rainforest villa sleeps up to 10 guests in 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. At El Yunque Paradise you will experience firsthand the magnificent beauty, sounds, scents, colors, and solitude of the tropical rainforest. This private property has everything you need for an amazing stay. Just to name a few; private pool, beach volleyball, hammocks, swings, an outside lounge area/game area, a kitchen, a spacious and more. The different areas at El Yunque Paradise seem endless with multiple living spaces both inside and out, it’s easy to find a space to suit your mood.
CAMERA AND POOL MAINTENANCE DISCLAIMER: El Yunque Paradise has a camera security system on the exterior of the property that records the terrace and pool area. Pool maintenance staff visits the property every Monday and Friday.
LIVING AREAS
Once inside you are greeted with the living area. It features 2 comfortable seating areas, a full bathroom with a showerhead, and a dining table for 6. The living area has direct access to the kitchen. Adjacent to the living area there is a family or entertainment room with a comfortable sofa and smart TV to relax and enjoy any games, entertainment/news, etc. The living area has also direct access to the patio where you and your guests will spend de vast majority of time at El Yunque Paradise.
KITCHEN
The recently renovated kitchen has everything you need for an extended stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, stovetop, oven, coffee maker, and toaster. Has also has direct access to the patio and terrace. Making it easy when entertaining.
OUTDOOR
As you head outside part of the property you will find El Yunque Paradise’s centerpiece: A massive patio and terrace with a spectacular private pool, outdoor shower, beach volleyball, wooden swings, jumbo size Jenga, fire pit, pool table, kitchen or outside bar with a sink, BBQ and a fridge. This is where you will spend the majority of your time at El Yunque Paradise– enjoying the breeze by day and the stars by night. The laundry room is situated outside as well.
BEDROOMS
El Yunque Paradise offers 4 bedrooms, all with individually controlled air-conditioning, cotton sheets plus duvet covers for your maximum comfort. The property’s 4 bedrooms are spread out among the single-floor house. You will find all the space you need for your large group or a family stay.
The Master Bedroom features a queen-size bed, closet, a private bathroom, nightstands, A/C, and flat-screen tv. The third bedroom features a queen-size bed, A/C closet, and drawers. The second bedroom also features a queen-size bed, A/C closet, and drawers. The fourth bedroom has a bunk bed with 2 twin beds and 2 full-size beds, A/C, and a closet.

Lunch or Dine at El Yunque Treehouse. Literally steps from the property.
Taste the local flavors at the staple kiosks in nearby Luquillo – right next to the beach.
Go on horseback or a four-track ride off the beaten path in Carabalí Rainforest Adventure Park.
Play a round of golf at the Wyndham Río Mar Golf Course or any of the neighboring nearby courses like Bahía Beach Resort & Golf Club in Río Grande or El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo. Or even better, play in Coco Golf Resort Puerto Rico one of the PGA’s tours stops.
GETTING AROUND
You need to have your own vehicle when staying at El Yunque Paradise. Uber is not allowed to access the rainforest and scheduling Taxi rides is very difficult. There is nothing within walking distance.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.
AMENITIES
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. If you are staying for more than 3 nights and the property does not have a washer and dryer, we can coordinate a complimentary towel changeover, subject to availability. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs, and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 2 rolls of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
HOUSE RULES
Check-in time is at 4:00 pm.
Check-out time is at 11:00am
Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $750 will be charged if violated.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Max. occupancy of 10 guests is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Quiet hours from 12 am to 8 am. No parties or noisy activities during these hours. There are neighbors and, in the Rainforest, you can hear everything. Do not go past the house’s entrance up the hill to the other homes. This is all private property, including the road.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess; stained towels/linens will be charged from the damage deposit
