Away from the small village of Montmeyran, nestled in the plain, between the Rhône and Drôme valleys and the foothills of the Vercors, the gîte is located just 25 minutes south-east of Valence and 20 minutes from Crest and of the Drome valley. You can discover numerous tourist or leisure sites for all ages: the Upie zoo, the medieval ruins of Baume Cornillane, the Crest tower, the Piegros la Clastre castle... or choose discovery or immersion in nature: the Drome river which allows swimming and kayaking, hiking in the Vercors, trails or small roads to discover by bike, the Ramières station nature reserve, the Saou forest and its syncline.. This valley is also called a "biovalley" and is full of ecological and human initiatives. The region offers wonderful landscapes with its perched villages: Mirabelle and Blacon, Chabrillan... it is rich in terroir and crafts.
Want a country vacation? On the farm, in the heart of organic fields (melons, watermelons, garlic, cereals) the old stable has undergone a beautiful renovation and has given way to two holiday homes with unique charm. Sylvie welcomes you in summer and winter for a getaway or a long stay. The gîte le jardin des sauges is located in a wing of the farmhouse adjoining our house and another gîte. The interior with its warm and cozy decoration is arranged as follows; on the ground floor, pleasant and comfortable air-conditioned living room enjoying a large bay window opening onto the terrace, toilet. Upstairs: 2 air-conditioned bedrooms (each with 2 90x190 beds that can be twinned into a 180x190 according to your wishes), bathroom/wc. For your exclusive use: terrace, garden, 2 car spaces.
