Positive: Comfortable, well equipped, nice garden, good location
Negative: Although we enjoyed our stay in Vic, I can not recommend this accommodation. We were told on arrival that the cleaning would cost €70 - an excessive and unexpected sum in my experience. We took the option of doing the cleaning ourselves. We spent 2 hours cleaning the house and felt we had left it as found. However, I was bombarded a day later with messages and texts claiming that we had left the property in a dirty state and had behaved in a disrespectful manner towards their property. We found the aggressive and personal tone of these messages very shocking and upsetting. Although the payment of a small sum for very minor oversights may have perhaps been a fair compromise, the owner then informed us that she had taken the full €70 from my account. I have been renting properties through booking.com and other agencies for more than 30 years and have never had anything other than very positive reviews of my cleanliness and general behaviour in the properties. I think future renters should be warned of the extra cost and, more importantly, the potential unpleasantness here - and avoid it! I
