Vintage Florida charm abounds at this adorable Craftsman cottage located in the heart of Sarasota's Historic Gillespie Park Neighborhood! Offering a true slice of paradise, this home comes complete with a private pool and furnished outdoor areas that are sure to be the centerpiece for endless sun-soaked fun. Originally built in 1925, the cottage has been lovingly maintained and updated for contemporary comfort while still preserving its vintage appeal with features including original wood floors, a Florida Room, and a clawfoot tub. The bathrooms have been recently updated and other modern additions include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer. Enjoying a distinction as one of the city's oldest neighborhoods, Gillespie Park is conveniently located on the north side of downtown, within walking distance of Main Street and just a short drive from Marina Jacks/Bayfront Park, St. Armands Circle, and your choice of great beaches. You'll also be within an easy drive of the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and cultural attractions like Ca d'Zan and the Ringling Art Museum.

Summary: Loved this old Florida home. Vacasa is my go to now over other rental programs. Great properties and prices are always competitive and fair. This place was charming and private. Mattress in the master was extremely comfortable. Plenty of linens and towels. Pool out back was perfect size, not to big and not to small. Sat out every morning for a little breakfast, coffee and a swim would live to stay again .
