Welcome to Simon's House located on quiet Grand Turk Island in Turks and Caicos! Grand Turk is a short flight from Providenciales. The house can sleep 12 guests with four king size ensuite bedrooms and a bunk room that sleeps four. All bedrooms are located on the main floor with open kitchen, dining and living room on the upper level. The advantage of this are the private oceanic views and constant cool breeze while cooking family meals, socializing on the sofa or relaxing on the balcony with friends and family. The upstairs balcony facing the ocean has an added screened in area allowing the cool breeze in while keeping the mozzies out.
Along with having the beach so close, the house is walking distance to restaurants, bars and dive shops that can provide boating trips, snorkel trips, and of course, diving excursions and lessons.

Summary: The whole second floor is one big great room with a wrap-around porch around three sides, right on the beach. It was terrific! Loved the sea breezes and listening to the surf. There was always plenty of shade and plenty of sun to be found. Plenty of seating inside and out. Grand Turk is a throw-back to the islands before tourism changed them so much. It is remote, with a few restaurants and a couple of grocery stores, both a little on the expensive side. Most of the people who come to the cruise port just stay at the cruise port, although there is an uptick of activity when the ships are in. The on-island property manager, Lollie, is very responsive and can help you find anything you need. A golf cart is nice to have, and the property has a driveway with room for the golf cart. Lollie is the chef at the inn down the street, and we had a couple of good meals there. We also enjoyed The Ridge Cafe — well worth the drive. Reservations required on Instagram. If you come to Grand Turk, be sure to reserve in advance for whale watching and swimming with the whales.
