Positive: The foot print of the apartment is excellent - very spacious and clean and in a good location to walk to the old town. Also, a very nice pastelaria next door is a plus.
Negative: Unfortunately a number of issues. First, the normal check in is 3:00. We paid extra for an early check in at 1:00 so that we would have the whole afternoon in the old city. When we arrived at the apartment, there was no heat or hot water. I contacted the manager who then needed to contact his “team” to try to figure out what was wrong. This did not get sorted for about 3 hours thus ruining our plans for the afternoon. And, instead of sending someone to fix the problem I had to send photos/videos back and forth of the water heater and finally, I ended up fixing the problem. They blamed the issue on the previous tenant, but instead they should have checked that everything was working properly before we checked in. Also, they should have offered to refund our money for the early check in. Additionally, if one has a car, it is very nice that there is secure underground parking, but be aware that it must be a small car and to get to the lobby there are very steep steps one needs to negotiate - pretty much impossible with luggage so we went out the garage door and around the corner outside with our bags to get to the lobby. Once in the lobby, there were still 7 steps up to the elevator. Anyone who has luggage needs to be able to carry it up these 7 steps. All of these issues with luggage/parking should be disclosed in the apartment description.
