Positive: Lovely location within a really short walking distance of the town centre and all the facilities. Accommodation was lovely and ideal for family with teenage children. Basically you can walk into town in no more than a couple of minutes and don't have to join the chaos of trying to find parking. Offered a delivery of fresh bread and croissants for collection from reception in the morning which were delicious. Loads of space for a family with teenage kids. Loved it.
Negative: It was great, if we are being picky things like the carpet are getting a bit worn out, and there was a slight damp smell in the lower bedroom/bathroom, but this part of the accommodation is basically a basement so kind of expected, overall very happy and only listing these as you have specifically asked what we didn't like.
Summary: Great self catering family accommodation in the heart of Lake Windermere.
