Close to Murrumbateman's wineries and the natural wonders of Wee Jasper, it's also within reach of Canberra attractions like the National Arboretum, Cockington Green Gardens, and the Canberra Walk-In Aviary.A comfortable, 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements. They are 20 meters away from each other.Guest Access:Guests can access the tiny house and surrounding areas. The main house and areas down the other driveway are restricted. All paddocks have restricted access, animals can be met over the fence along the driveway.Interaction with Guests:Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.The Neighborhood:Tiny House offers a straightforward countryside experience 50 minutes from Canberra in the locality of Marchmont. Note: 5 km of dirt road from Yass to our property, and 12 km of dirt road from Murrumbateman.By Public Transport:- Yass has a train station. A taxi service is needed to reach.- Directions from tiny house to Yass: Turn left onto Gums Lane, follow to the end, then right onto Wee Jasper Rd into town.By Flight:- Fly into Canberra Airport, then a 50-minute drive to our property using the directions above.Other Things to Note:- Wifi is not available- Gas BBQ Grill is available- Smoking is not allowed on the property- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed- Please note that pet policies will be sent prior to arrival- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas and clean after your pet's droppings- Don't forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property- Please clean up after your pet's shedding before checking out courtesy of other guests- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)- Please be advised that we have free-roaming farm animals (and potential noise) on our property- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional Charge- Mobile reception has a good signal for Telstra and Optus; Weak signals for Vodafone and no signals for the rest- A compost bucket will be provided for the collection of food leftovers, which will be fed to the chickens on the property.Important note:- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.- As this property is a working farm between several much larger farms, there is a potential to hear gunshots at night when farmers are out culling feral animals. This is very limited and can only be heard occasionally and not for a long period.
