This particular cabin, along with #26, is our most secluded cabin on the entire property–if you want peace and quiet, this is the one for you. It features a queen bed overlooking the woods with a beautiful stream winding through, a sleeper sofa with (an actually comfortable) queen foam mattress, a seating area nook with built-in cushioned benches and live edge table perfect for a game of cards or working on your laptop (don't do it!), granite countertop, electric hot top, mini refrigerator, dishes, silverware, basics for cooking, kettle, etc. This cabin comes supplied with linens (sheets, down comforter, towels for four, and pillows), linens for the sleeper sofa (sheets, pillows, and blankets), and two sleeping pads and pillows if you have additional guests (i.e. kids) sleeping on the floor. The cabin also has an outdoor seating area with four Adirondack chairs, a fire ring (w/ integrated grill), a small picnic table, and bistro lights that make for a magical outdoor experience.Because of this cabin's secluded location, it does not have a bathroom, but our renovated cedar bath house is just a short walk away (about 75ft away). This is the nicest campground bathroom you'll ever see with a tiled floor, live edge countertops, and new fixtures everywhere. It actually smells _good_ if you can believe that. And while the bath house is a shared space, don't worry about it being crowded--it gets minimal use because our campground is small and many of our guests will be staying in cabins with their own bathrooms. The bath house has 3 clean, individual showers with gloriously hot water. This cabin is located in the recently renovated campground, a nearly 100-year-old tourist attraction located in Freeport. The Desert is 25 acres of rolling sand dunes in the middle of a lush Maine forest, a natural phenomenon created during the last ice age. The tourist attraction includes self-guided tours about the history and geology of the Desert, exhibits for kids, a train ride, and a new mini golf course! The campground is quiet and serene, surrounded by tall northern pines and the "desert" dunes. There is a 24x7 Camp Store where you can buy bundled wood, snacks, drinks, ice cream, ice, and other essentials. We also have lawn games like corn hole, bocce, hook & ring, and more. Come unwind and make magical memories here!ACCESSYou will have the entire cabin on a dedicated campsite, all to yourself. In addition, you will have access to our renovated, cedar bath house which is just steps away, with individual showers.ADDITIONAL RULES- This campground is a quiet, serene place.
