Positive: This guest house is very special! We had a fantastic stay, due to the kind, well-travelled host (who made absolutely beautiful breakfasts btw), the beautiful home, and the location. We like off the beaten track places, and this was more like a homestay. The house is behind a small temple and is about a 10 minute to most places in town, but a 3 minute walk to a Lawson. We were in Yufuin during a surprise snowstorm, and the house was perfect --warm and cozy due to the space, super comfy beds, cat, and private onsen (which we took advantage of daily!) It truly was one of our most memorable and relaxing stays in Japan.
