Summary: We loved the property, and the house was lovely for what we wanted and needed. We took our grandchildren and allowed their parents to tag along with us. ;) In spite of the wind and cold, everyone still had a great time together. March is not a great time of year to go to any lake in Texas; we Coloradans are finding out. Since it is unpredictable in March, we will go someplace that is guaranteed not to be cold and windy for our spring break next year. You cannot take advantage of being on a lake in March, but come May, it's where you'll want to be for fun, sun, and family time.
