Summary: My husband and I were looking for a weekend escape, and wanted to explore the San Diego area and lounge by a pool. this nice little apartment was a fantastic base to do just that. While the location itself at first seemed a little odd, we soon found out that we could get anywhere in San Diego quite easily and quickly. Although we didn't use it, we also noticed that there was a train stop just outside the complex which we assume would also take you downtown for those nights when you might want to have an extra drink or 2. The apartment was small, but cozy and had plenty of room for 2 people. We do wish there was a little more storage for our things - we ended up having to sort of live out of our suitcases, but we made it work. The amenities at the complex were nice. The pool was lovely, and not overly crowded, and while we didn't have time to use the gym, it looked like it was pretty well-equipped. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful, and we really enjoyed staying here. We would definitely stay here again the next time we venture down to San Diego
