Quietly located luxury and very spacious authentic thatched holiday villa right next to the Kruger Park. Located in Phalaborwa on the four-star lodge "Bush Villas On Kruger" equipped with a large swimming pool (15 by 5 metres) and a good restaurant "The Calabash Grill" nearby on grounds of adjacent lodge (easily and quickly accessible on foot through a beautiful garden).
Our villa is recently equipped with a battery system which means that with us you will not suffer from power cuts due to the so-called "loadshedding" problems in South Africa.
The villa has a new and fully equipped modern kitchen and 3 completely new bathrooms, 2 with bath and shower. Bed linen and kitchen linen are provided by the lodge. Cleaning daily unless otherwise agreed. 3 separate bedrooms with air conditioning. 2 ensuite bathrooms with bath, shower, toilet and double sink. 1 separate bathroom with shower, toilet and single washbasin. Equipped with fibre optic WiFi and TV. Beautiful large veranda. Right in front of the veranda is a "skottelbraai" for delicious BBQs. Spacious garden around the holiday villa with various native trees and bushes. From the veranda you have a nice view of the Lodge's fishpond.
Our luxury holiday villa is ideally located in the authentic South African town of Phalaborwa just a 3-minute drive from the Phalaborwa Gate of the Kruger Park, close to a large Spar supermarket and the excellent restaurant "Bushveld Terrace". From the Phalaborwa Gate, there are several beautiful routes through the Kruger Park: to Satara, to Olifants, to Letaba or to Mopani. We will be happy to give you tips on the most beautiful routes!
For even more adventure, it is possible to drive to Hoedspruit in 45 minutes for a balloon ride or a visit to the "Hoedspruit Reptile Centre", or to the "Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre". The spectacular Blyde River Canyon (with Gods Window, the Bourke's Luck PotHoles and The Three Rondavals) is also a day trip away from our holiday villa, as are a number of spectacular waterfalls, such as MacMac Falls, Lisbon Falls and Berlin Falls.
Looking for even more action: go abseiling in Tzaneen via "Magoebas Kloof Canopy Tours" or rafting in the Blyde River Canyon via "Blyde Canyon Adventure Centre".
Approximately 5 hours' drive from Johannesburg airport. Flying on to Hoedspruit is also possible with Flyairlink, a fine South African airline. From Hoedspruit airport, it is then about a 55-minute drive to our holiday villa.
